During January and February of 2006, the old Skora Building and Kenny Kent dealership were demolished. The buildings are visible behind the Greyhound Bus Station in the picture top right. During the excavation of the property between the Skora Building and Greyhound, workers discovered the foundation of the old Ambassador/Cadick hotel and theater complex. The location had a troubled existence, beset by financial difficulties for the various parties attempting to use the site from 1920 to 1937. In 1937 Greyhound assumed ownership of the property and in 1938 opened the Greyhound Bus Station.

The Cadick Theater was going to have a rounded front, similar to the one on the Greyhound today. The rounded fronts are related; in fact, the foundations of the rounded fronts are identical.
